will i have problem with frugal intallation ? i have debian installed and i dont want to break it because i dont have source dvd.

I think it depends what you want to do with the small linux on CD-r. It is a big difference ist you want to use it only for a small router or for development and hacking. In wikipedia you will find comparisons of linux distros.
