Has anyone tried to install BT3 in a USB stick? Is is working, and above all, does it worth doing so?

yeap, i know all of that, i have already dled it and i'm waiting for the stick to be delivered to me. All i'm asking is if anyone has already done it, and any opinions on this.

Yes, it is definitely worth doing. I use several sticks not only with BT and I am quite happy with them. The pendrive has to have fast R/W speed, otherwise the booting time is horribly long. Similar to live CD the system loads into RAM , so it could be slower on 512 MB . Most of brand pendrives work , then the BIOS of mainboard has to allow to boot from USB , but it is almost a standard with the new computers.

Yeah just download the usb version from here: http://www.remote-exploit.org/backtrack_download.html (its a .rar file). Unrar it to your usb disk . If you are running windows go to /(usbdisk)/boot/ and run bootinst.bat. If you are running linux go to the same folder but run bootinst.sh. This makes the usb disk bootable. Now you might just need to tweak the bios otherwise ure up and running!

enjoy :ninja:
