MSVDM launch applications to specific desktops

I am trying to configure various applications to launch at startup but to specific desktops. I am using MSVDM (Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager) for multiple desktops in XP pro w/SP2. I get four desktops to work with and I would like to set it up so that different applications load at startup but only certain apps show on certain desktops. Say for example, netstumbler loads to the first desktop, cain loads to the second, and so on. I have tried searching with goolgle and I have searched microsoft knowledge base articles. I searched the forum, news and articles but so far have come up empty. While I now know a great deal more about MSVDM, I still haven't found out how to do this. Has anyone had success trying this or does anyone know how this can be done with/without MSVDM?
