Bess Smartfilter: impossible to bypass!! AHH HELp!!!

hey, i used to get to sites that were blocked by using the ip adress , then my school(where i get my internet free from) updated the filter to Bess Smartfilter. Ive talked to others to help me nd people on other sites, MANY people all have the same problems> The stupid filter blocks So MUCH, even certain parts of this site, like the chat, and the lessons and junk. I HATE IT, can anyone help!! Other people have tried proxies and FAILED !!! I cant figure it out. HELP!

I would say there is many ways to get about doing this, I have only a little problem with it myself. Look around to find out how to do it cause there are multiple ways and some are better for certain things. I can point you in the right direction: google can be used in an infinite amount of ways.

My school uses Super Bess too, or atleast they did last year, i havnt started back again this year. I know how gay it can be, esspecially when trying to do a report on a "Blocked" subject. Try editing the hosts file (I wrote an artical about it) or useing the number system of the site. You might even get pass it by useing http://blahblahblah@site.com. You could also set up a proxie off a free hosting site like i love hbh. keep up the good work!, or run one from your house. Hope this helped :) good luck.

one thing that they might not have blocked is http://logmein.com. just register and follow the instructions to make it where as well as your computer is online, you can access your computer from any computer that has internet. You completely take control of your computer therefore, the internet on your computer will have no blocks. My school has a pretty good filter (WebSense) and they filter proxies and what not but this they do not so give it a try.

Try SSH Tunneling to home or some free shell site using programs on a mem stick (like Portable Firefox and PuTTY) or set up a VNC Server somewhere and VNC to it (first way is MUCH MUCH Easier)
