How the people crack into servers!!!

I want to clarify all my doubts.

many times i heard that crackers have cracked into this server. that website had got hacked(cracked)!!!

what are all possible ways can some one crack into the other's servers.

people spend years exploring different ways of different methods of hacking,you could read an entire book on it and still have scraped just the surface, and you expect to find out in a single forum reply? not gonna happen ;)

lfi, rfi, server hacks, Buffer overflow, stack over flow, string format exploits, poor security, social engineering, luck, brute forcers, friends, cookie stealer/session hijacking…. those are a few.
