OK well im trying to steal my school's net for sniffing purposes. Anyway wireless is definately a no go! ive tried everything but looking at there security its border line impossible. Radius SSL Client certs. MAC adress needs to be registered. No tor or proxy. It only authenticates inside browser session. And uses filtering policies custom buolt vie my school admins. So im gunna steal an ethernet cable :P anyway i get one in and no luck. Apparently it steals wants authentication for the ethernet. Well HELP ME! im desperate. all i can give you that is out of ordinary with there ethernet is that. The proxy is always set to Fatty:80 The cert i installed for wireless was called Fatty.p7b and novell manages the border manager for the thernet. Help this is the first network i havent been able to crack and im sutmped. Regards Santa

I'm quite skeptical to hacking school networks, just make sure they dont read this thread :right:

hehe, well i rwned my shcool pretty good.

One thing that novell overlooks by default is that you have read privs on everything unless specifically changed.

So at the login screen hit up advanced and get all the names of servers, then try \\[server] in an explorer window.

that's the quickest way to find stuff you shouldn't have.

I'll msn you with some more stuff if you need it.

i have a problem with my current network too, it seems we have a network inside the school network for every classroom, internet access is all dictated by a firewall, and ive net viewed on different classrooms, it always comes up with the current room. network drives are located at "Gamma\…." and "Kappa\…." but i cant find either locations on the network. is there any way to access these servers/we they are through a classroom network? ^^

Mr. Noob.^ most school have diffrent ip's for teachers account group… Find the IP change it to urs. In my case the teachers ip was a few digits off my own, i found it and use it. Teachers are not filtered and such…

take you're own IP (local) 192.168. something. or whatever it is. and change the last number. i tested 1-60 and found a whole bunch of stuff. 42 was the the unfiltered internet gateway
