Damn Vulnerable Linux

Damn Vulnerable Linux is a distribution of linux which has been specifically made to be as exploitable as possible, thus allowing for people to learn what causes code to be vulnerable and how to exploit it.

I was wondering whether anyone had ever used DVL? If they had what did they think of it and did they learn much from it?

Sounds interesting. Got a link for dl? What makes this anymore vulnerable than a out-of-the-box install?

the ppl who made it have basically made it as vulnerable as they can and removed as many security features as they could. an out-of-the-box install has most security things enabled.
