ok, so i've just got my laptop with wi-fi 802.11 b/g I found some wireless activity around my area, and my neighbours wifi seems to be the strongest, but it is passworded.

I tried t o install it myself, but it just couldn't. I tried reading the tutorials and some suggested using a live cd.(which is out of my question)

So i wonder if any of you people have installed aircrack on ubuntu/windows?

BTW:- it's interesting that you have a ZX-81. do you have a spectrum? **idk, iv only tried to boot the thing up once, it runs on tapes :o which i am currently lacking, maybe il buy some off ebay someday and see what it can(t) do. I also have a laptop that is so heavy that it will make your legs go numb if you have it on your lap for any length of time, its about the size of a desktop and it dosnt work, atleast notwith the floppys i tried :( , if i had gone to the hbh con i wonder what ppl would have thought if i bought that out :right: **

yes, learning to use google properly is very important. ;)

it surprises me how many people at school still type in stupid things like how do I do this or why does this happen instead of prioritizing their searches by putting the subject first and avoiding stupid words like 'do' and 'and'

when really need a beginner google guide as we have advanced ones for searching for specific filetypes and stuff but just to teach people the basics. Google still filters out stuf e.g. i put "how do overclock my q6600"(exc quotes) and it will filter all but overclock and q6600 but its still bad practise.
