Rainbow Tables

Ok so downloading rainbow tables takes too bloody long, how do I generate them??? High-end PC so can handle it etc. Sorry for poorish grammar have a magnum so type with one hand. :P

create a string generator. preferable using a wordlist and a bruteforcer. run those through an encryption method (md5, sha1, etc) and then output the results of that to a file. then load the file into what ever is wanted the rainbow tables.

rainbow tables are simply precomputed hashes, it saves time when you actually need to crack things. :)

when i installed cain something called Winrtgen v2.3 came with it and allows you to generate rainbow tables . i havnt tried it myself as it takes an age but have a go.
