Hacking tools i hope these are included in hbh distro

hey guys i just compiled a list of my favourite tools let me now what you think Port scanning Nmap Password Cracking JTR Cain and Abel L0phtCrack Web Info Gathering BidiBLAH Dissasemblers Ollydbg Reflector IDAPRO Source Code Scanners Rats ITS SystemWide Scanners Nessus Exploitaion Tools Metasploit Proxy Invisible Browsing SSH Putty Wirless Hacking Kismnet Airsnort Sniffing Ethereal Packetyzer

You are a windows user right? many of those tools exist only for windows.

How about flaw finder for source code scanning, and air crack and kismet for wireless auditing? They all work for linux.

i know some of these are windows only. this is just a list of my personal favourites. cause i run a windows laptop with a backtrack 2 live cd. and a dualboot desktop running fedora and windows so it was inevitable that a couple of windows only tools would creep on there :D.

Please do not forget Ndiswrapper with ipw2200 and orinoco patched drivers…so many linux live distros are forgetting these things.

Any of these programs can run in Linux mate…it is called Wine

trying to use linux programs is always a better idea than depending on wine

btw what about fuzzing tools =) unless that's skiddie too…. lol

JBroFuzz is a stateless network protocol fuzzer that emerged from the needs of penetration testing. Written in Java, it allows for the identification of certain classess of security vulnerabilities, by means of creating malformed data and having the network protocol in question consume the data.

Not to mention the fact that using Windows tools under linux violates everything that linux was developed to be…gotta problem with that? Develop your own supplemental tool or dual-boot. Not every program run the way it is supposed to when trying to use wine.

Lol, wine = godlike when you really need a good program that only runs on windows. Not including wine compability is like .. setting the christmas tree on fire.

Why not popin FireFox and create a directory for a good extensions to use w/ firefox + a readme of what they are used for/how they are used. I personally could recomend some (like advanced dork).

i think they dont talk about it because its so basic and pretty much anyone knows the standart extensions to include on an hacking distro.. cookies firebug tor referers useragents venkman debugger etc..

There's a thousand good reasons, or even more. If you can't awnser your own question yourself you should stop coding anything and just use google source code searcher to get what you need.

I urge you to code some of your own extensions :)

Don't actually use them often. Except for advanced dork + sometimes webdeveloper.

I also don't see how me not coding my own extension(s) means i should stop coding altogether.

y why? apart from search engines i havent found anything i needed for firefox that someone hadn't already coded.

i understand that knowlege is always good and it's always positive to make yourself but for a distro selecting popular extensions that are being supported over new versions of firefox will remove some hassle for keeping the whole os updated.

well back onto the subject would u mind reposting the lsit thread starter with all the things requested thanks that would be appreciated.

You could make an extension from which you can login on multiple hacking sites (HBH, HTS, ZI, etc etc) and check your PMs from Firefox.

Also, a custom firefox skin would be a nice addtition too.

i also hope that wine, and a compileablehydra source is included(from thc),
