me and my friend are trying to scan each others ports and get into each others comp just for experimentation. how can i manually open a port for him? i tried going to my network connections right clicking the internet gateway<properties<add but it wants an internal and external port name and no matter what i put it wont accept it… and it wants an IP but i thought it was supposed to be 127.0.0.1 or so says google. hes doing something in the firewall but his ports are still closed… or they say closed.. that might just be his macafee subscription kicking in and making it look closed tho help?

use NETCAT to punch him a whole through his PC.

If you wanna run service that uses a specific port, then allow it to accept connections either through windows firewall, his personal firewall, and make sure he is port forwarding if he's behind a router.

Or, you can simply exploit his box first, then install a rootkit on it :ninja:
