need some opinions!
Ok so. i go to school. Me and my friend are bored alot so we just spend our time finding little holes in the network. and we have all sorts of good ones. We've never damnaged anything and we dont abuse it because we dont have any reason to and if we did they'd prolly patch the ways we get in. and they have patched many from classes of previous years. But lately i found a filter expoit where i can get a local ip that isnt filtered and i can connect to it using firefox. one day while i was testing some things using that a kid was watching over my shoulder. and got the idea. So he's going on effing myspace all the time posting comments in class and using an admin account i found. (turns out my friend leaked a bit of info)
anyway the logs are often checked and i would go as far to say that our myspaces are watched… (xanga's were back in the day) << and yes it gets u in trouble (private school private rules). anyway i told the kid dont mess around with any of that it could come in useful if its not patched dumbass.
i looked at the logs. hes still doing it.
my options are a. forceful/agressive social engineering (already tried it lol) b. delete his account (which would be reported and all my work would be undone) c. get access to his myspace and maybe delete it or use it as leverage. d. get him banned (probably lead to him using more of my ideas to get in…)
I want to try c. as of now and i did today. i pulled up myspace and i sed hey i cant login you try… but the virus protection picked up my keylogger and i had to delete it quick.
what should i do? forget it? code a simpler logger?
