Ok some guy has been pissing me off by taking credit for some gaming mods I made, what are the chances if i ICMP DDOS him he can find out it was me?

ok, i have little experience with DDOS, and what i do have is purely theoretical, but i always thought that DDos had to be directed at a server, as in you send so many packets it gets confused ansd crashes. how exactly you intend to do that to a home PC is beyond me. but if you do do it use a proxy, you will probably be allright.

I was always under the impression various DDOS attacks work on routers…

Well if he uses a 56k then a thing close to DDOS would be a POD lol :D

nmap them , find out what services they are running , find a DoS exploit for one of the vulenrable services and run the exploit
