Making an admin account on limited

I've been interested in cmd.exe and its commands, along with telnet lately. I am wondering if one can create an Admin account or change their Limited account to an Admin account from a Limited account, using cmd.exe (or anything else that works).

This is probably impossible or incredibly hard to do, but I still want to know.

there is an article in the newest issue of the hbhzine about getting system access on windows xp systems.. with system you can change administration rights and create accounts etc and its all from command prompt so go on and check it out.

(it works ive tried it numerous times) ^otherwise it wouldnt be in the zine ;)

lol well i think thats what u wanted right?

It's not what I was looking for, as I can only execute it on an Admin account. But still, it's really fun to do. :D

you could try to run it from your start menu… start>run>cmd create a batch file that will give you command prompt… or just executes, the commands you want executed…. or create a cmd file that does the same thing…

these are some options which might work…or might not work.

just try it…there's always a way:ninja:

and oh yeah…if you can download and install stuff, try CYGwin…it's better than just cmd…it'll give you power if you can get it running B)
