Poison NULL Bytes

i completed basic 9, witch has to do a lot with Poison NULL Bytes, in particular %00. Even after i completed it, i still want to learn more about them, as they may be very useful. I googled for good articles about them but i didnt really find much. Like if i wanted to use it on a normal log-in..were would the %00 go?….because its not like i can search for a login form, on a normal site. So please share your knowledge about Poison NULL Bytes and how to use them, if i get enough feedback i will prolly write and article on them. Thanks guy!
