Shutdown some ones pc?

Well i read an article by DeatoX, in the article it said change the ip and it will shutdown their computer. i tried this and it didnt work, i was wondering weather it doesnt work full stop or im doing something wrong?

shutdown -s -m 127.0.0.1 -t 99 -c hello

shutdown -s -m (i changed the ip to the one i wanted) -t 99 -c hello

You can shut down windows boxes by ending the process svchost.exe, it you can end processes on their box.

Can be aborted with shutdown -a

this really only works on a network but it does work. try typing shutdown -i it pops up a interface for easier useage (no way you can mis type the command.) This is really fun to do at school.
