Accessing hard drive.

I have this problem with accessing my sisters hard drive. I enabled file and printer sharing on her computer and I did nbtstat -a ip. It worked, but the command after that, "net view \ip" didn't seem to work. I tried everything in the article, didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? If I am, what am I doing wrong?:|

You would put the documents you want to share in that area.

You can only access their C:\ drive if they're sharing it ;)

File sharing needs to be activated. or you can just root her.

dude, why would he root his own sister!

anyway, you replace <sharedDocs> with whatever the folder is you want to access, or the in your case the name of the drive (this is the shared name)

Click on the folder/drive Press Alt + Enter and go to the file sharing bit and it will tell you the name.
