School Filters

At my school, they have a filter which blocks off google image search which means i have to search pics at home to use for assignments etc..

how can i get past this filter?

I'll actually help you out, because this (seems, at least) to be a truely worthy cause. (So long as you're not using the image search for the biggest industry on the internet.)

Take a look at Proxies, and CGI Proxies. Failing that, there's always Tor, or Torpack if you have a USB Drive.

if I remember well you can also try with IE to make it so the packets sent hold a smaller amount of data, therefore you will send many many more packets and the filter wont be able to read them all, dont know if it actually works but I rode about it some years ago, they used to do it in China to avoid the gov filters detection (among other things). or u just find a good proxy near you that works and u configure IE :D.

You can either try to bypass the filter or search at Altavista's image search :D
