Novell Application Launcher

OK long story short my schools admin is a wizard. He has locked all right click, run program, ctrl-alt-dl, task manager, and notepad functions. I checked the files and found out the system runs on Novell Application Launcher. Now I have created a batch file that will get me into command prompt, but I cant open it. Any help?

What do you mean by 'cant open it'? Does it pop up with an error message or just doesn't appear? Your school admin sounds exactly like mine. They nailed down every trick in the book

try this.

File - New - Shortcut. type command if that doesnt work, try the same thing but type cmd

Internet Explorer > View Source > Notepad For your use :happy: or write a simple text editor and bring the program over on a floppy

by "can't open it" I mean that there is no way to access the file. the only way is to go into MS word or one of its counterparts and click open. But that doesn't work. What I need to do is find a way to access files without going into a program. :(

My school uses Novell Application Launcher aswell.. I found a way to get the cmd.exe If the browser you are givin is Mozilla, FireFox or any browser that supports 'Open With' when trying to open a file,you're in luck. Goto the File Menu, goto Open File.. then goto /windows/system32/ and open CMD.exe, it'll ask to topen with, select /windows/system32/CMD.exe And it'll open cmd for you xD From there you can shell stuff, run system commands, etc..
