.mdb permission crack (hope this is the right forum)

hi, i have this .mdb database (offline) which i want to access.

but when I opened it it said :

you do not have permission to view this file, ask your administrator or the developer for permision (or something like that)(the default no permission message)

ofcourse i tried right clicking the file and giving me full permission to view/change/ whatever…

but I still cant access it, so i think its something inside the database which checks the permission.

anyway, i wanted to ask if someone could help me with this, is there a permission crack to view without permission, or maybe an alternative program to view the file which doesnt check permission?

the prob is just that it doesnt ask for a pass, else you could just brute force it…

i hope any of you guys can help me, thx in advance (and if you need any more info/ have questions, just post them or pm me)

AldarHawk wrote: dude2000, http://www.rixler.com/access_password_recovery.htm that was after a 2 second GOOGLE SEARCH on .mdb password cracker. Try to look before you actually ask!

i have looked, i have looked for hours, and like i said though maybe not clear enough:

i have to get past the permission, there isnt a password so i dont think a password recovery tool will help much (ill try it though)

but the last password recovery tool i tried just said that it couldnt find the password, which is true cause there aint one.

EDIT: didnt work, though thx for trying to help anyways :P

then your password is stored in a Access Database Password file. get that file and you will be able to access it ;)

like i said, it doesnt ask for a password, i just dont have permission, and if the permission is also in another file which i dont have, is there any way to view the database?

maybe the mdb file is in use by a program on your computer? Check your process list for anything that looks like it might have to do with an mdb file, and quit out of it, and then try to open it again

I had the same problem a while ago… tried everything, googled for hours but couldn't find a thing :(

eventually i deleted the .mdb file …

though if someone knows how to view it without permission I would still like to know how i should have done it…

I guess that was under linux. So my idea is to make ur own "OS" and then copy the file.(i think there are already some premade OS-s and open code and stuff)
