I was just reading about Net BIOS hacking and was wondering if this is still possible or if its outdated. Either way could someone explain the very basic of OS hacking. Thanks.

waaaaaaaaayyy outdated. Net Bois hack is years old and patched with modern service packs and latest OS's.

However im sure there are a few hundred comps out there that still have it open.

I am on the metasploit site and judging by the screenshots, I am still a little unsure as to weather or not it can execute the exploits or just find them?!? and article on this would be awsome!
