ok so here's my story… probably a boring one… but i'm so stressed up i can't think of anyone else to say this… but u guys…

i first became interested in hacking when my friends told me about hts. we enjoyed challanges and stuff, wasted a lot of zime there, then we found hbh, some of us quit, some continued the fun…

now, after some time, i became something… i mean, i can do stuff. so i checked my school website , and found 2 xss holes, i could steel admin phpsessid. all i ever wanted to do is help them protect themselves. i told super admin about it, and he encouraged me to report bugs…

and so i did. i also posted a lot of continuing messages in forums, but we can't edit our messages.

and they thanked me and it was great. then i found another hole, and explained one admin what could be done if not protected.

and… i got banned. and there is a great post with my name and surname telling i got banned for hacking site. i don't believe this, i'm just too stressed about it, too scared.

and now , things finally seem to look up a bit, i contacted them and it's ok now… probably…

so for anybody out there… don't mess with school… just dont. even if u have good intentions.

i plan on still messing with the school anyway. Even if i'm caught, i don't care, it's my last year at this shitty school and i plan on leaving doing something big. I was going to completely destroy the grad, but there actually ARE people who look fwd to it, and i do have a little tiny bit of a conscience left, but the comps, nobody likes anyway. The tech teacher even encourages us to hack it because he hates it as much as we do. He even helps us out a little bit.:) so yeah, I don't give a damn about the consequences. Thanks for your experience and advice anyway, though.

i've heard this story several times about various things and experianced similar instances myself.

lesson learnt: dont help people. let the admins deal with it when it gets exploited.

Im guessing the admin was getting trouble for not doing his job properly and, seing as hackers are evil, you were to blame. Thats why I dont believe in white hat hacking… you get just as much trouble for white hat hacking as u do if u get cat blat hat hacking. Only difference is that black hat hackers have a chance not to get caught XD

Lol, I went grey. I realised this same thing and decided that white would be a pain when you try to help.

well jojo, thats pretty stupid that they got all ticked off. Im currently a network tech, so i work under a network admin, and thats part of my job to hack the network. I wouldnt worry about it to much man, if they encouraged you to do it, and if you didnt use any of this to your advantage you should be fine. This isnt the first time ive heard of stuff like this, ive heard of kids being expelled for opening a command prompt (and not even doing anything).

I wouldnt even bother with it you know…. at the end of the day its only school, what do they know? they lie and accuse people because they know better…. Try proving ur teachers wrong u'll be the one who always loses out.

I agree with many things said in this post. White Hat Hackers doe get in shit for a lot (if they deal with the wrong people COUGHSCHOOLCOUGH) but if you deal with the correct people like security firms and companies (only if you are hired to do so mind you ;) ) You will not get burnt!

Black Hats do a lot of things and do have a chance of not getting caught, true. remember this though…even the most notorious hacker gets caught eventually. The deeper you dig the harder it is to get out. Best thing to do is just not TELL others about your hacks ;)

something similar happened to my friend…and he got banned from the computers for the rest of the year. you can never expect a school to understand something like hacking… to them its all bad. hacking still gives a negative image to people who dont understand it. and they will probably always be this naive… sucks for them really.

I have to agree with watcher, i know in the past i have had some pretty shitty teachers, and like watcher said there always going to win. If you have a teacher who is a real witch, and you talk back to her your going to lose.

well i havent really had any bad run ins with my school computer admin, hes a tight ass but not bad. Once he saw me and my friend on here, and he was like wht are you two doing, and we were like on HBH he was like ohh okay and walked away. the school admin know i am learning to hack, and can do a few things, but they dont care. im accually helping my admin reimage all the lap tops and repair them for next year, i think its really just the way you approach adults, yea some of the are just too tight of an ass and reject the unfamiliar. You learn what to say to who…. -hackthis-

well, thx for your posts people.

i made an agreement with "noobie admin" :D

if they cant prove i did shit on site, they wont accuse me.

i happy. no more "unwanted" help for them from me.

and there are like 3 haxxors waiting to try to deface that page… only thing stopping them is me. :D

Reminds me of the time i exposed the technicians netsend* to send messages to every computer with a freind who wrote a message on one ocmputer "hey bitch" and i saw it and responded with sup bitch number 2 at which point both messages were sent to every computer including office and head teacher. At whcih point we both got suspended. Infact every hack i've ever done in school has got me suspended ;) ! I've never been suspended for anything else but hacking so i suppose thats a bad thing but good at the same time. You can't get away with outsmarting people who have authority over you so don't bother unless you know away to make them look more than idiotic and assure urself to stay in school (without straping C4 to yourself, grabbing an AK-47 and pointing it at the goveners).
