SSH Tunneling
Just got into the whole thing. I am searching for 2 things: 1] Some more information on it. 2] Anyone who can supply me with a link to someone who gives free unix/linux shells that have ssh support.
So far I understand how it works, and how it can be used to bypass web filters.
What i understand is that your computer connects to the box running SSH and allowing connections, and sends all the information to there, sort of like a proxy.
I tried it using Tor, and it works fine, but when I go to the airport Tor cant get a proxy, sense it uses an online list. The airport blocks all outgoing requests for HTTP, and FTP. but i can telnet and ping and ssh fine.
is there a way to make tor load the list even tho the airport blocks port 80?
Thanks in advance, Haykuro
