Msn 'hacking'

I guess it counts as hacking, it's incredibly easy and anyone can do it but it is fun..

What I'm talking about is where you use the secret question service on MSN to change the password of an account to something else and therefore gain access to that account. It doesn't take any thought, just guess the answer to the question (incredibly easy when the question is "High school name" and the person goes to your school, etc) and voila.

I do it now and again to people who I don't really like/care for - it's good fun logging in as them and changing their screen name to something like "I like gay porn, and you?" and see what reaction you get =P Or when they don't delete their validation e-mails from sites like Piczo or Freewebs, you sign into their account and deface the site (or use javascript to redirect it to lemon party =P). Last night I did it to someone who I don't like (I was bored, I hadn't done this for months) and they tried to log-in a few moments after I'd changed the password.. she created a new account and logged onto MSN so I added her (she added my real account so I knew the address) - she was really pissed off but she had no idea what was going on. I defaced her site here and I redirected her other one to a shock site (Lemonparty), I won't link to it but if you really wanted to go on it then just replace the username on the last url to xxxx-Hayzel-xxxx

Anyway - anyone else done this sort of thing?

I have the pwd of this girl and we had (have) a major fight and she didnt cahnge her pwd, i guess she just doesnt know how, and I'm waiting for the right time to do something naughty with it. Dont even have a clue what I'm gonna do, anyone an idea?

thought of, sorta phishing this guys password usin fake logins on a site with suposed pics of his gf then hoping he uses that password for hotmail etc :P great if he does, waste of a few hours if he doesnt lol

SE'ing the question answers is easy enough tho

Depends on how well you know the person ;) now they want the state if you're in the usa and zip/postal code as well as the secret answer

lol reminds me of my good oll freewebs days.

i made a freewebs page when i just started out and i wud change it constantly, but it had a form that wud say "to login use the admin password from VICTIM SITE" funny thing is i got like 5 people to fall for it before everyone started wising up. this was like when i was 9 and just starting out tho, now the media has attacked the minds of millions and no one trusts anyone with anything. thats y god made Social Engineering easier brought to you with new instant messenging and email spoofing lmfao.

heh, I just read it - great article.

Someone put that the guy that hacked the site is called liam on the shoutbox of the site that I hacked, that was funny - social engineering is just so fun.

I wrote a little phishing script, log in, data mailed to me and redirected to hotmail ;)
