Best way to get passed a site blocker?

You know how at schools and such, web pages are always blocked if they even hint at hacking, gambling, etc… What is the best way to get passed that? I know sometimes the IP of the site works, but most firewalls block that too. Any help is welcome, thanks!

I like that calc thing thats pretty creative. A good proxy to use is ninjaproxy.com, a lot of times admins will type proxy in google and start blacklisting websites. ninja proxy doesn't show up for about the first 25 pages, so i think you will be safe there haha.

And I know this is kinda off subject but I wonder why google comes up with a red line under it.. It is a house held word and should probably be in the dictionary already. hm :whoa:

The biggest problem is that they block key words like proxy, hack, gamble, porn, etc… So any site that even had an ad of gambling would be blocked, it's pretty ridiculous.

Thats right. And yes that article he linked to you. That is a very "creative" thing to do. I agree. If that doesn't work you can use proxy. Try mathtunnel.com Tends to slip through their block phrases. Keep on down low though because they will block it soon after they notice it. But you could ping your destination URL. And then enter IP instead of the URL. That can sometimes work. I think the IP covers for blocked URL phrases.

Google the ip of the website. Then once you get the link that you want, then click the cached link on that bottom left link. It will bypass the blocker as it is registered under a different ip 209.something. The only downside of that is once you click a link on the page, you are no longer under Google's hood and the site will be blocked. I use it if I want to look at a specific page.
