Haha... "National Spanish Exam"

So in school, we are required to take the "National Spanish Exam," or whatever language you are taking.

The security on the whole thing kinda makes me laugh… heres a link

and its hilarious, because EVERY single other student and teacher doesn't understand how easily this security method can be bypassed by anybody who knows what they are doing...

the teachers are all like "If you open any other windows or start any other programs or hit the control key your test will be invalidated," when its just javascript...

theres no way to stop us from googling for answers, or just popping them in a translator. But then again, the warning on its own scares 99.99% of people away from trying to cheat. so i guess the lesson to be learned is that even if your security is bullshit, a warning label will have a very strong effect?

and just the fact that it takes like 3 clicks to disable javascript, then you can google answers at your hearts desire.

and the funny thing is, there really is no way to prevent people from cheating. they fight a losing battle. other than the fact that the teacher walks around, but im sure all teachers arnt as anal as mine.

i didnt cheat tho, i promise! :happy: got like a 78% which is actually quite good, they expect you to get a 50.

and it was one of the highest grades in our grade. its a really tough exam, and they even give cash prizes and whatnot.

thats why i was so surprised to find the security being so weak. because once you get money involved, youd think somebody would exploit the weakness… i think the teacher needs to give you your username/pass/"secret word" tho, so im not sure. then again, you might be able to just register…

my username was nse083firstname.lastname and password was 6cgmtft4

number in front, number in back and 6 lower case letters in between, it was the same format for everyone.
