you see PsTools is a part of the resource kit for windows

i recently read, in a tech magazine, that these can be/are used to access remote computers ,it even explained how to do it. But since i am a newbie and don't understand jargon i couldn't do much of it. i am doin a bit of reading about it from google. so i was just wonderin whether you guys know anything about it.

Now if you still dont understand it i'll post the whole paragraph given about it as in the magazine.

well, some of the PStools such as PSExec are used to execute processes remotely which also allows console applications to be run on the remote computer and doesn't require the client software to be installed.

it can also be used to launch commands and remote-access tools such as IpConfig, netstat, or maybe a trojan.

i might be wrong somewhere.

can you post the paragraph from the mag?

Well first off, PSTools is more or less recognized by antivirus or other hacking protection software as Trojan so it's as much usefull as Sub7 or Mosucker would be.

Second.. yeah, better of using a masked trojan if you want that kind of access.
