File Access
So I went on google the other day and came across a MDB file. I downloaded it and realized that I have no program to open it properly. I guess I could always open it in notepad but that is SUCH a pain in the ass. Now, I don't have Microsoft Access and according to the internet (www.file-extensions.org) I have to have Microsoft Access to open the MDB file. Would any of you be willing to tell me a good program that you use to open this type of file if you don't use Microsoft Access.
I run:
Windows Vista Home Premium I have all the Microsoft programs accept for Access.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: Meant to put MDB instead of MD5. Sorry.
here is a few sites

hope that helps!

Aint so hard to google; "Vista Md5 checksum checker" or something like that.
I'm very aware on how to use google. I asked for "your suggestions" as in what people that were going to reply to the thread had to say as far as the best program goes. Also, the program you showed me does not allow me to view the file, it just lets me view the hash, i believe. But thank you all the same.
Wait, what do you think the checksum file is for? http://www.irnis.net/gloss/checksum-file.shtml

I actually screwed up. When I wrote MD5 I was just thinking it was a MD5 file because I was trying one of the "other" challenges. It is indeed a MDB file.
Also, I do do some work with MD5 files so the programs that were told to me have helped.

Ah. Righto. Use JTR for MD5 hashes.

A quick google turned up a few results with the query "MDB FILES" on free ways to view the contents. :D
Hm, JTR works "sometimes". Bet it's the vista config that's messing with it. Ask Meltdown, he got it running.
Also could someone please help me with a network problem I am having? I know what the router IP is but my computer stopped allowing me to access it, when ever I try to get there I get a page saying that it does not exist… But I can access the page of the router mine is connected too. It is know in the modem because it only has 1 ethernet port and my dads router is in that one and my router is in my dads, witch works fine. I used to be able to get to my routers page…

Yeah, cause this thread is about that shit(s)?
I appreicate the help and the very minimal flaming and I hope it stays that way after my next question but how would I go about compiling JTR's files to get the program to run?
See, I know very basic information as far as computers go and I know a few complex things as well. I'm never going to ask anyone here how to hax0r someones email address or break in to their myspace. I could care less about that shit. I'm here to learn. I know I could use google, but I prefer to use the advice that the professionals here on HBH have to say. I do use google. Matter of fact it is how I found the MDB file, after doing a few directory transversals and such. But I guess I'm trying to say thanks for the help.
