two quick questions
hey all was just wondering if anyone could give me a hand with the following i have admin pass because they left it laying around, have logged onto it but it is only admin on the one computer and not networked to the rest of the school so i am unable to acess my work etc i was wondering if there was a way to connect it to the network and still have those same rights (so theoreticaly i could acess the schools monitering program (net support school) )
2nd questions i have also been trying to use proxies where you change the internet connections in say firefox but am unable to get any to work. I've read around and i seem to be doing everything right and not quite understanding why it isnt working and how exactly it works
so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreicaited
(sorry about the spelling)
What type of OS and what type of os is the server there using? I assume XP is the tpe of OS ur using. 1.Try and map a drive. 2.see if the network admin has logged on to the computer to do this go to documents and settings folder check to see if there is another admin account created. if so then there password might be stored on the computer if there hasnt been a restart or shutdown since a admin logged on 3.If ur school uses windows server then download active directory tools from Microsoft(sometimes ppl allow any admistrator to access Active Dir) . There are other ones i can try and tell u about but i need more info?
