i have been searching around how the fuse works. But still dont get it.

someone please explain briefly how the fues works?

you wanna know what a fuse is right? it guards the amount of ampere's,carried by volts. so,it's a safety measure,for an electric circuit. simply put: (so there are thing left out) if you have an audio device,for in your car, that uses 12 volt,you could protect it from dangerous high voltages,which an car battery can give. in between the battery,and device, you put in a fuse that destroys itself at 12,2 volts,or 12,4… in the feeding wire. the + in modern houses,they look and act like switches,but do the same thing.

you don't need to understand the details of how a fuse works just think of the different ways that you can tell whether a light bulb is on or off and use the process of elimination.
