ovioulsy im wrong but i thought "kryptonite" was just a made up crystal that superman didnt like.. so how did they diagnose this crystal as "kryptonite".. obvioulsy they dont have an army superman in a room and they feed it to him and see if he gets weak… so how did they say it was kryptonite?!!!

they said (BBC News) it matches the chemical composition given to kryptonite in superman returns (except it doesnt have fluorine so it doesnt glow green)

… so yea this "kryptonite" is that what they're gonna call it?? i say they ingect so flourine in it and see if they can make it glow hehe

they cannot call it Kryptonite because it contains no Krypton (a gas in the table of elements). They are calling it something like Jadarite.

if there was such a thing as Kryptonite it would be three atoms of Krypton, right?
