OriginalDissent.com Hacked
<a href="http://originaldissent.com">OriginalDissent.com was hacked earlier this morning by a group called Subliminal Hackers. OriginalDissent was a large and popular white power forum.
The Hackers left a message stating "No hate site will be left untouched" "One website at a time, they will go down". It is believed the defacement was left unpatched for over 7 hours with several hundred people viewing it.
They also claimed responsibility for other attacks that have happened this year. No hackers revealed their names only the name of the group.

1st off, djdan: i respect you, but that comment wasnt thought through. 2nd off, is hacking sites not the SH expression of speech? Do they have a right to protest their own ideas. Both groups could have wronged could they not? Both had ideas/opinions, maybe both took them to far. Its everyones own responibility to keep their ideas to themselves unless the idea will bring common good to the people. This is where the paradox begins. We all are subject to our own interpretations. So now "who is more wrong?" will be interpreted by each person. It is important to maintain a balance so ideas of groups dont spead out of control. The hackers will challenge the "evils" of the internet; The police will challenge the hackers; the government will challenge the police, and people the government. It is an endless cycle to maintain the balance b/w groups……and now I end my rant with a point… People's ideas need to be kept in check otherwise order will be lost and free speech sacrificed.

i think all you people who are blindly saying "free speach!!" clearly havnt thought it through. would you allow massive banners in your street promoting racial hatred? answer = no.. but hang on.. isnt that a product of free speach? Free speach isnt as perfect as you all think, its a double edged sword. and yes there should be a limit. free speach should be limited when propaganda negatively and unjustly affects people. end of story. besides in the UK and many other countries, its illegal to spread racial hatred. so why is it legal online? fuck knows. i support what SH did, someone has to clean up the internet and if the gouvernment are incapable of doing so, then let SH do it.

Since everybody here talks about freedom of speech, I think those of you who don't know what anarchism is (and those who think that anarchism is simply doing anything you want and not caring about others) should read some about it. I think you all would like it. Make sure you know the difference between anarchism and anarchy though ;)

personaly i, just think tht SH did what the believe to be right racial hatred is wrong simple as, someones creed or colour does not define who they are all this ethnic MINORITYS do not represent what tht race or relgion is actually about its like white skinheads creating a sterotype for the british public or all the yobs drinking making our country being labled a natoin of alcahloics people are way to quick to jump on the band wagon all the time the simple fact is that no mater who you are or what you do spreading ahte is wrong an SH are ging out of there way to rid the internet of the Haters so fuck it all respect to them the deserve an applause

Without getting into a big debate about free speech, all I can say is it's one less Hate site on the internet (right now its down), so im pretty damn glad :happy:

What a bunch of retards. That site wasn't what they said it was and if they'd spent five minutes looking at it the would see that. They may not have agreed with the politics or religious views there in but who made these asshats the internet Nazi's of Free Speech?:matey:

Just one question, did stormfront get defaced or just deleted? I haven't been able to find a mirror of the defacement and Zone-h is currently down… It would be interesting to see what SH said about it ;)
