Revamped Code Bank!
Revamped Code Bank!
Ever wondered if your suggestions to improve the site would make a change? Well, here's proof that they have!
Experience the revamped Code Bank… with all of the content and none of the fluff!
However, what would a code bank be without syntax highlighting for your viewing pleasure? Well, it sure wouldn't be ours… because that came with the upgrade! Enjoy!

For those that enjoy the syntax-highlighting in the code bank, definitely give <a href='http://www.hellboundhackers.org/profile/root_op.html' target='_blank'>root_op his props for putting that in place!
As for the sub-par content removal… well, who else would suffer through some positively atrocious code other than yours truly? Now that we have a clean slate, it's time to set down some content guidelines so that the code bank sees no more "grand cleansings".
Code Bank Submission Guidelines
- Do not submit useless, pointless, pathetic, or stupid code. If you're unsure, don't submit it.
- No "Matrix code" or any stupid content of that kind.
- Make sure you submit your code in the CORRECT CATEGORY.
- No "beginner" code; if you want to teach beginners how to code, submit an article.
- If you submit .Net code that uses a GUI, describe how to construct the GUI or (in the case of C#), post the relevant GUI code with comments.
- For all other languages, remember to include the code for any custom functions you use.
If I come up with any other useful guidelines (or if I get any suggestions), that guideline list may change. Once it is complete, that guideline list will make it into the rules. Until then… If you chance breaking any of those guidelines with your submissions, I will delete your code. If you continue to do so, I will dock you CPs, as well as possibly slapping yo mama (depending on the crap level). Other than that, let's get some quality content from our current members!
Also, I'd like to thank <a href='http://www.hellboundhackers.org/profile/ynori7.html' target='_blank'>ynori7 for perusing through the new code bank and finding the misplaced content. His help was pivotal in this transition, and he should get his props, most of all, for doing what was needed WITHOUT being staff. Thanks, ynori!

Great job on the code bank Zephyr. That must have been a lot of work sifting through all the garbage lol
And great job to root_op for the syntax highlighting. It looks really nice :)

Thanks root_op, Zephyr, ynori, and anyone else who helped. Hell, thanks to everyone for supporting these changes. I would just like to point out (in case you didn't notice) the Development link under Information on the left. There you can see all the changes that are being worked on currently. http://www.hellboundhackers.org/development.php And that's just the start. Keep hitting us with your suggestions in the "God rank to easy" thread.
