As we do every year, HBH hosts a small hacking and security convention in Brighton UK.
This year the event will be held on Saturday 26th July 2008.
Tickets will be on sale for £15. It will be a one day event. There will be 20 places up for grabs, on a first come first serve basis. So make sure you get your ticket asap!

Tickets will be on sale for £15. It will be a one day event. There will be 20 places up for grabs, on a first come first serve basis. So make sure you get your ticket asap!
We will be covering everything from simple XSS to web 2.0 exploiting to several new ideas and undisclosed exploits. Both the exploiting and patching will be covered in this convention. This will be a great oppurtunity for you to learn how hackers break into websites and most importantly how to keep them out! Take into account majority of the day will be focusing on website exploitation and secure website coding. We will also cover WIFI hacking and securing.
Up to 12 laptops will be provided at the convention for those who do not have one.
The convention is for all ages (only over 18's with proof of ID will be able to drink alchol). We already have placements booked for 15 yr olds up to 30+. There will be something for everyone. Even if you think you know all there is to know about hacking/online security, we can almost guarantee you will learn some new skills and concepts!

uhmm could you please divulge what you mean by web2.0 exploiting other than AJAX I can't think of any new 2.0 technologies since most of it is just a look glassy big text, reflection… you know
