Forum Voting System
<img src='/images/forumvote.gif' align='left' alt='secure and hack vote system'>The forum voting system is now live.
In certain forums you should now see two small symbols. These are your new voting buttons! You can vote positively and negatively on forum posts.
So if you find a post has helped you…. vote for it!
Please read more for further information.

If a users community points reaches a horrifically low number (i.e -500) then that user can be banned or warned accordingly. So you now can affect a members presence on the site, aswell as have your own input to the site voted on aswell.
This idea, we are hoping will reduce flames, spam and restore constructive posts back into the forums, aswell as encourage more friendly interaction over the site.
You will notice you can only vote on posts in certain forums, i.e you can't vote in off-topic. But if your EM, we figure you are less likely to abuse the system so we have allowed you to be able to vote on any post in any topic!
You have to be registered for minimum of 30 days, have atleast one community point and completed atleast some challenges to be able to vote.
This is a trial system and we're hoping it won't be abused.
Let the HBH Staff know what you think by posting in the forums.
We hope you like the new system!

Nice, I Like It.. It Should Be Interesting to see how People React to Being Warned/Banned more Often :p

They'll probably react the same way they always have… by either creating a new account (e.g., firesale) or running away to join DMZ (too many to name). Still, maybe some people will actually care that the quality of their posts is getting judged… can't really say I will, since I think for longer than 5 seconds before my mouth opens, anyways.

"You have to be registered for minimum of 30 days, have atleast one community point and completed atleast some challenges to be able to vote." i thought the original plan was that people needed to have at least 30 community points.

also, i noticed this "f a users community points reaches a horrifically low number (i.e -500)". i voted thumbs down to someone with 0 cp and it didnt go to -1.

The whole system doesn't work. You help someone and they don't post, or don't know how to, or just think you should have helped them.
