This will be the largest and most rewarded competition HBH has ever had!
Challenge: <span style='color:orange;'>Design and code a new feature for HBH you think will improve HBH. This leaves alot of area for you to experiment in. The new feature can be absolutely anything, or even include a new "mega mission" that could feature all of the challenges combined. Anything you want to see on HBH!
Rewards: T-shirts, Exclusive Membership, Points, Cash!
Deadline 28th February 07! <span class='small'>submissions after this date will still be awarded points and EM as prizes, this deadline is only if you want your submissions entered for the cash and t-shirt prizes.

The idea of this challenge is not only to help out the dev's, but give you direct control over what you want on HBH. Hopefully with all the submissions, we should have a sudden boost in whats on HBH and some really cool stuff should come from it.
Challenge: <span style='color:orange;'>Design and code a new feature for HBH you think will improve HBH. This leaves alot of area for you to experiment in. The new feature can be absolutely anything, or even include a new "mega mission" that could feature all of the challenges combined. It could even include something like a AJAX shoutbox for EM members to chat in etc. Or even as simple as redesigning a few static pages and giving a more professional designed feel to HBH. Anything you want to see on HBH!
Language: PHP / HTML / Javascript / AJAX / etc
Rewards: We have 2 t-shirts to give away, 2 one year Exclusive Membership subscriptions to give away, and ofcourse plenty of points. If a feature is truely outstanding and implemented, there will even be a cash prize, but this deffo depends on the quality etc. You'll basically be rewarded on your effort, coding ability and whether HBH implements your feature. If your feature still isnt implemented, but we feel you've made a considerable effort, then you will still be richly rewarded with points or possibly EM… so its a win, win situation!

What would really help the site is to have competition we're we know on what we are evaluate and it's not random personn that something don't know anything about it that evaluate it.
Seriously in the past programming the only I've see is that the content is evalute on what it is suppose to do. The code is only briefly look and not even tested.
How do I know it ? I've never got any message asking me a single question about all the script I sended.
Also the programming challenge also got lot of lack of control. I was allowed to send a code for a challenge 1 day after the deadline and the code got accepted.
In general what I'm saying is that programming challenge and other event like that shouldn't be made in 5 minutes. If we want real and enjoyable event there should be more time put in preperation.
This is my 2 cent and this is the main reason why I don't really come often here.
