Tools Required: Hex Editor (XVI32) Form of programming (optional)

So first things first, you’ve downloaded the image looked for different shading and subtle differences see anything.

If in doubt there’s always the trusty view source method!

When you view the source there should be something that hits you instantly, a divide in the contents, see it?.

Maybe you should try removing the different bit and leaving the normal image contents, try reviewing the file it should load up in a viewer and look unchanged.

so you know the contents of the file is not part of the image but what is it?

Maybe the formatting in the string is incorrect and you are required to maybe play around with the spaces.

Once you figure out what you want to do you could manually edit them but it should be simple to write a program that will be able to sort that out for you and save a lot of RSI!

So now you have a file with a big string correctly formatted with spacing now you just need to work out what the encoding is. XVI32 could be a place to start ;)

Do what you need to and save the file, view it in an image viewer and that should be steg 16 done :)

enjoy!
